Here is something you ought to know.

Here is something you ought to know.

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to saints:

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:26-27, KJV). The bible says in Hebrews 8:7-13 that God found a fault with the people, so he sought for a better agreement. God would not have done that if the first covenant (the law given through Moses) was okay. It had a problem; it did not bring us (the people) unto a place of perfection before the eyes of God. The bible tells us that: God has good plans towards us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV), the Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love (Psalms 145:8, NIV), God is love (1 John 4:8, KJV). This loving God couldn’t have given the law to fail us. He says in Isaiah that come now let us reason together, though your sins (not you dear) are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. God wants to commune with you, like or even more than He did with Adam in the Garden of Eden before the fall of man but there is a mindset that has to be changed. Why? Because you cannot reason with a person who doesn’t have the same mind like you. This cannot be achieved through personal self- effort. The bible says in Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. All have sinned because it’s a nature (origin) and not what you do or don’t do. Notice the underlined words show that it’s a present continuous scenario. This minute, day or week you might purpose to be good but the next minute, day or week you fail because it is a nature issue which needs to be dealt with it. David saw something about the new covenant and was inspired to write it in Psalms 103:10-12. The new covenant is Christ being in a man enough for the man to be in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. Meaning the old nature is passed away, the man has a new nature now that is after God. So quit struggling to make yourself look right before God, come to God the way you are; get into Christ who is right in the eyes of God. One may be wondering how I do. The bible says in Romans 10:9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. This is how man enters Christ. Dear reader, God does not condemn you, quite the contrary He loves you. He desires to commune with you on a daily. Believe the word of God. The bible says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shouldn’t perish but have eternal life. Eternal life is the life of God. We do not obtain this eternal life when we die and go to heaven but when we accept Jesus into our lives as Lord and savior because the bible says he that hath the son has life

Colossians 3:1-2(MSG) that if you are serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, then act like it. The life in Christ is like a play and you have a script with your lines and the devil also knows his lines. For you, the man in Christ, the lines have fallen in pleasant places. Sicknesses, depression, discouragement, oppression of any kind are not part of your lines, the man in Christ. For you the Lord is your portion, he maintains your lot (Psalms 16). A thousand fall at your right and ten thousand at your left but none come near you (Psalms 91). The bible narrates to us the reaction of the devil at the appearance of the Jesus Christ which shows he knows his lines when he meets the man in Christ. Child of God that is who you are. The devil beguiled eve because she did not know who she was. Child of God know your lines and the devil and his cohorts will be sorted. Bible says in Hosea 4:6 my people perish for lack of knowledge and in John 17:3 the knowledge of God and his son whom he sent is what gives life eternal. Hallelujah!!! Praise the Lord Jesus Christ.
