Started on the 20th September, 1999, Mbogo Mixed secondary school became the second among the Mbogo schools. We began with S.1, S.2, S.3 and S.5. The students' population was 65, we had 15 teachers, 2 members of the non-teaching staff i.e. the school nurse and the secretary.

The debate between humanities and sciences has been ongoing since time immemorial. However, a closer look at the two sides of the same coin reveals that the debate may not actually be worth the effort. Historically, and particularly in Africa , children received traditional informal education on matters such as artistic performances, ceremonies, rituals, games, festivals, dancing, singing and drawing. Girls and boys were taught separately to help prepare each sex for their adult roles. Consequently there wasn’t much to distinguish the two seemingly conflicting areas.
Phones in some countries like America are allowed in schools but not in Uganda. Phones should be allowed in schools so as to increase the level of research through the use of internet where the students can acquire more information. This makes work much easier whereby the students are able to do their assignments in time.
Optimum health and wellness can have a positive impact on your academic success. By establishing healthy habits in nutrition, exercise, and other areas of wellness, you can set yourself up to be more successful in your academics (Ruthig, Marrone, Hladkyj, & Robinson-Epp, 2011). In addition, many of the activities that keep you healthy can also improve your mental focus, decrease stress, and improve the quality of your study time. For instance, exercise “increases mental energy and improves mental performance” by pumping more oxygen to our brains through increased blood flow (Cuseo, Fecas, & Thompson, 2007).
A Healthy living, is one of the things a student has to have in order to excel in school. It’s very difficult for any student to concentrate in school with poor or wanting health. I can give an example of boys. Many boys are affected by diseases because of poor health habits like sharing towels, not bathing and so many others. Boys should avoid such habits in order to keep healthy.
One of the most exciting quotes I enjoyed during my high school History lessons was Napoleon’s remarkable quote about sleep. When Napoleon Bonaparte was asked how many hours of sleep a person should have each night, he replied “six for a man, seven for a woman, and eight for a fool.”
